| This new concept for the cinema and TV movies grew out of boredom.. I used to love american movies until I was 17 - and since then the development has somehow stood still, no more big fascination, no more self-identification; everything is foreseeneable, in too many scenes I must think about the 'making-of' and all fascination is lost. All is so exaggerated, unreal, sci-fi. And there's these famous artists, the silly music, the kitsch, unnatural behaviour .. all in all very unnatural stuff of which I can not imagine it would ever happen to me!
Especially the stories told are way off real life - and that's such a pity because the many little things which can happen - and some are happening to many people - would be much more interesting - told in a manner which is not at all overdriven, maybe only some more dense than reality.
Of course there are already steps in the right direction and brilliant movies - for example the danish DOGMA films - but I would like to go a bit further and also include modern technologies and digital possibilities to make movies more realistic in a sensitive way: Instead of the handheld camera and the reduced color I would propose to have a big part filmed from the eye of the protagonist - and his (day) dreams and thoughts .. his feelings visualised. In some advertisings, experiments in this direction are already realised, and with todays software and the power of processors so much is possible. Who is receiving the world just like a camera ? Is there just black when you close your eyes and nothing else? No, there is complex graphics on many layers - producing the noise, the hissing in every image, sometimes strong, sometimes more in the background. The same with sounds - some are produced in the head, not only as a simple reverb from a psycho movie of the 70ies. People have music in their heads without listening to music, and their eyes wander and focus to the nonexistant beat..
This is only as a first intro - I will set the strong rules for my own concept and show some examples in clips and storyboard. I do not want to be a moviedirector and make a big movie - I'm an architect and I do not have the time unfortunately - but maybe my concept could inspire another film-maker to realise a movie I can finally go and watch with fascination again, several times in the best case!
